MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry (MD/DM Psychiatry) or equivalent
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council
Strong foundational knowledge of psychiatric disorders, diagnostic criteria (DSM -5/ICD -11), and evidence -based treatment approaches
Proficiency in patient assessment, clinical documentation, and medication management
Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build therapeutic relationships
Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical practice, and continuous professional development
Willingness to work in a fast -paced, team -oriented clinical environment
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team under supervision
