Position - Public Relations - Communications Specialist (Lifestyle)

Job Summary: The PR Executive will assist on public relations initiatives to build and enhance client's brand reputation. This role is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, managing relationships with media outlets and stakeholders, and aiding in the day-to-day activities of your PR team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in executing and implementing public relations strategies that align with the company's overall marketing and business objectives.

2. Reach out, identify and enlist relevant journalists, contributors for media coverage and develop compelling stories that generate positive brand awareness

3. Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and stakeholders, including journalists and influencers

4. Execute the distribution of press releases, media pitches, and other communications materials

5. Organsie and track media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential issues

6. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including PR, influencer marketing, and styling to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning

7. Measure the effectiveness of PR initiatives and provide regular reports to management

8. Assist in conducting regular catch-up calls to maintain alignment on strategy and execution plans, and effectively managing client expectations to deliver service that aligns with their brand

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in public relations or a related field, preferably lifestyle clients.

Strong media relations skills and a fair understanding of the media landscape

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Knowledge of social media, AI and digital marketing trends and best practices

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
