Purchase Engineer

•  Manage end -to -end subcontracting procurement processes and job work activities.
  
•  Identify, evaluate, and onboard subcontractors based on quality, capacity, cost, and delivery performance.
  
•  Negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms with subcontractors.
  
•  Raise and monitor subcontracting purchase orders and job work orders.
  
•  Coordinate material dispatches to subcontractors and track material consumption.
  
•  Follow up with subcontractors to ensure timely production and delivery schedules.
  
•  Monitor inventory of materials issued for subcontracting and reconcile material returns.
  
•  Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Stores teams to meet operational requirements.
  
•  Resolve issues related to quality, delivery delays, and subcontractor performance.
  
•  Maintain procurement records, subcontractor agreements, and documentation.
  
•  Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  
•  Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable statutory requirements.
  

Requirements

• BE /Diploma - Mechanical or a related field.
  
• 5 -7+ years of industrial experience.
  
• Experience in procurement, subcontracting, or supply chain operations.
  
• Knowledge of manufacturing and job work environments is preferred
