Purchase Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to strengthen our procurement function. You’ll work closely with our engineering, projects, and stores teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of components, fabrication services, bought-outs, and other critical supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, and execute purchase orders
  

• Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms of purchase
  

• Track and ensure timely delivery of items as per project requirements
  

• Co-ordinate with engineering and projects team to ensure correct BOM sourcing
  

• Maintain proper documentation of POs, vendor quotes, and payment follow-ups
  

• Identify new vendors, assess capabilities, and onboard as per internal systems
  

• Assist in cost reduction and vendor development initiatives
  

• Work with Stores to ensure incoming material quality and quantity checks
  

Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in purchasing for fabrication, mechanical, or electrical items
  

• Familiarity with engineering BOMs and technical drawings is preferred
  

• Good negotiation and communication skills
  

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight timelines
  

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP B1) is a plus
