Job Title: General Manager/ Purchase Head – Purchase

Location: Udaipur

Experience: Minimum 10 years

Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing

Education: Engineering background preferred

ERP Knowledge: SAP (MM module preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee group -level procurement strategy and operations across all units.

• Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost -effectiveness, and timely delivery.

• Drive strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.

• Ensure efficient implementation and use of SAP for procurement processes.

• Standardize procurement processes and policies across group companies.

• Handling purchasing team, spread with different units/ products

• Collaborate closely with production, planning, stores, finance, and project teams.

• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.

• Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, and internal control requirements.

• Develop and mentor purchase teams across locations.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing industries.

• Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial preferred).

• Strong knowledge of SAP (especially MM module) and procurement best practices.

• Experience in managing multi -unit procurement operations.

• Experience in importing products

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.

• Track record of cost savings, vendor development, and process improvement.
