Job Title: PYP Kannada Teacher

Role Overview

Harvest International School is seeking a passionate and
dedicated PYP Kannada Teacher to deliver high -quality language instruction
aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme. The role involves fostering a love
for the Kannada language through inquiry -based learning and supporting
students’ overall linguistic and cultural development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan
  and deliver engaging Kannada lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework
  
• Develop
  students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Kannada
  
• Integrate
  Kannada language learning with PYP transdisciplinary themes
  
• Create
  a positive, inclusive, and inquiry -driven classroom environment
  
• Use
  formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
  
• Maintain
  accurate student records and provide timely feedback to parents
  
• Collaborate
  with homeroom teachers, PYP coordinators, and academic teams
  
• Participate
  in school events, curriculum planning, and professional development
  programs
  
• Promote
  Kannada language and culture through activities and events
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s
  or Master’s degree in Kannada or a related field
  
• B.Ed.
  or equivalent teaching qualification
  
• 2–5
  years of experience teaching primary grades
  
• Familiarity
  with IB PYP or inquiry -based learning approaches (preferred)
  
• Strong
  communication and classroom management skills
  
• Ability
  to create engaging, student -centered learning experiences
