About Wissen Technology: 

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with hands-on experience in Apache Kafka to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable backend applications, developing data processing pipelines, and working with distributed messaging systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python.
  
• Develop and support real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
  
• Build and manage Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and event-driven architectures.
  
• Develop REST APIs and microservices for scalable applications.
  
• Work with databases and data storage solutions to support application requirements.
  
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
  
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
  

Must Have Skills:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
  
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka.
  
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP concepts.
  
• Experience developing REST APIs using frameworks such as Flask/FastAPI/Django.
  
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
  
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).
  
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
  
• Experience with Git and version control practices.
  
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  
• Exposure data processing frameworks such as PySpark.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB. 
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in B.Tech /BE Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
