Python Frappe Developer / Technical Lead

We are looking for an experienced Python Frappe Developer / Technical Lead with strong expertise in Python and the Frappe Framework to lead application development and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.

Experience

4+ years of relevant experience in Python/Frappe development.

The role will be approximately 70% backend and 30% frontend, with a strong focus on application architecture, API development, integrations, database management, and performance optimization. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of web applications using Python and Frappe Framework.


• Develop robust backend solutions, including APIs, business logic, integrations, database design, and performance optimization.


• Contribute to frontend development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.


• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architecture.


• Develop and integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and web services.


• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.


• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application performance, security, and stability.


• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.


• Coordinate technical delivery across development, QA, DevOps, Product, and Business Analyst teams.


• Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python.


• Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Frappe Framework.


• Good experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.


• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, integrations, and web services.


• Strong experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or similar relational databases.


• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Linux, Docker, and deployment environments.


• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.


• Experience in code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership.


• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred

• Experience working on ERPNext/Frappe-based applications.


• Experience handling production deployments and troubleshooting.


• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
