Together, our customers have saved over AED 100 million using Alaan. About the role We are looking for a proactive and meticulous manual QA Analyst to join our agile team. If you have 1-2 years of manual testing experience, enjoy wearing multiple hats, and are excited about working in a dynamic startup environment, we want to hear from you! Automation experience is a plus. What you'll do Execute comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure resolved bugs do not reoccur Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions as part of our Agile process Continuously learn and apply new QA methodologies and tools to improve testing efficiency What we are looking for 1-2 years of experience in manual software testing Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and bug reports Experience with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Basic knowledge of automation testing tools and practices ‍Familiarity with tools like Selenium or QTP is a plus Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment What's in it for you Contribute to building the Middle East’s most beloved fintech brand from the ground up Benefit from a role with significant ownership and accountability Thrive in a flexible hybrid culture with ample work-life balance Participate in exciting offsite events Competitive salary and equity Enjoy additional perks like travel allowances, gym memberships, and more
