QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team. At Nespresso, our Digital & Tech teams are at the heart of our innovation journey, a space where we continue to invest, evolve, and grow.

The Role:

By joining Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team, you will be working on the technology powering the Nespresso business. You will work in a direct-to-customer context with significant volumes and traffic and a very rich feature offering, being part of a large development organization with direct impact to the online business.

As a Quality Assurance engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for designing, building, and evolving the web framework that powers Nespresso’s eCommerce applications. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will design, automate, and execute test plans and test cases, and collaborate with the team to identify and resolve issues.                                                                               

In This Role, You Will:

• Collaborate with software developers to understand features and functionality and provide feedback on quality.


• Design comprehensive test plans and test cases for our web applications and services.


• Automate test cases and review the automation developed by other members of the team.


• Perform manual and automated testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of the applications.


• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.


• Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality standards and best practices.


• Monitor and report on testing progress and results to stakeholders.


• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and trends in quality assurance.       

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role in web applications/services environment.


• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.


• Experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Playwright.


• Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and documentation.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
