Job Description - QA Engineer - Automation

What you’ll be doing:

â Applies defined software engineering practices and procedures to ensure quality within

individual software projects.

â Creating Test Scripts using Appium/Selenium with Python.

â Executing test -suite as n when required on stage/prod builds.

â Reporting the issues, validating the same & sharing the test reports with the team.

â Performing API testing.

â Meeting the release deadlines.

â Collaborating with other teams to minimize the issues

â Share logs to assist developers in the analysis and isolation of software defects

â Contributes to improving automation coverage

â Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities at an individual level

â Participate & contribute effectively in daily stand -up, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.

â Working on Automation Testing & as n when required should be able to contribute on Manual testing as well.

â Maintain the quality of the product.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

â 1.5 -3 years of experience in working on mobile/web Automation testing using Appium/Selenium & python.

â Bachelors in engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.

â Well versed with Agile, SDLC, STLC and BLC.

â Well versed with Appium/Selenium, Python concepts & Strong development experience with Python, Appium/Selenium.

â Exposure on Design and implement test automation framework and contribute to improving automation coverage.

â Competence with automation methodologies, familiar with at least one or both areas of Selenium or Appium.

â Analyze & Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide valid feedback & appropriate estimates.

â Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive and well -structured test scenarios, test cases, test scripts & test strategies.

â Execute, Analyze test scripts, Report/track defects and publish test results

â Exposure of database CRUD operations, unix commands, scripting.

â Good to have knowledge on ADB, android -studio, x -code, Firebase, Postman, SQL queries.

â Hands on experience with test management tools and defect tracking tools.

â Exposure with performance and/or security testing & API automation is a plus.

â Experience with version control tools like Git.

â Good to have exposure on JMeter, Postman, Charles Proxy, CI -CD,TestNG, pytest etc.

â Experience with Sanity, regression, Functional, Integration, System, Update, Adhoc, UAT testing types, ability to perform executions in various environments as & when required.

â Stay up -to -date with new testing tools & Techniques and flexible enough to apply and adopt new test strategies & processes.

â Ability to work individually & as a team.
