QA Manual Engineer

We are looking for a Junior/ Senior QA Manual Tester to join our team. The person assuming the role of QA Manual Tester will be responsible for quality assurance by testing web and mobile apps for functionality and finding bugs, installing databases, and collaborating with the software design team. This position is for an engineer who can handle challenges well and can strive for improving product quality. You will be responsible for ensuring that the end product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Understand functional requirements, business cases, and test plans at a level from a business power user’s perspective.
  


• Strong Command in documentation (SRS).
  


• Analyze bug reports and should highlight problems to identify bug fixes. 
  


• Should be able to validate whether all the functionalities, designs, and usability are working as designed through execution of business user level testing including conducting tests of probable usage scenarios into the testing approach.
  


• Document and report all testing results, both pass and fail with steps to reproduce.
  


• Perform and analyze testing from scripted test cases.
  


• Arranging the test environment to execute the test cases.
  


• Experience with QA processes (bug tracking/reporting, documentation, etc.)
  


• Analyze bug reports and should highlight problems to identify bug fixes. 
  


• Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team. 
  


• Ensure the quality of the final product and whether or not they meet the end-users expectations.
  

Requirements

• Degree in B.Tech (CSE)/ MCA/ M.Sc (IT).


• Good knowledge on SQL and Oracle/ E2E to conduct database testing.
  


• Knowledge of API Testing with Tools like Swagger, Postman etc.
  


• Experience writing with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  


• Proficiency with Cross- Browser Testing.
  


• Strong knowledge of Agile and SDLC/ STLC.
  


• Adaptable approach towards changes in project.
  


• Knowledge of Performance Testing Tools like Apache JMeter, WebLOAD etc.
  


• Should hold exceptional knowledge about test management software.
  


• Strong troubleshooting, organizational skills, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  


• Ability to analyze functional requirements and develop test cases.
  


• Attention to detail and analytical thinking is a must.
  


• Ability to write test cases in a clear, concise, and structured manner.
