Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in manual and

automation testing of web applications, APIs, databases, and front-end interfaces. The

ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our

software products through detailed testing processes and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web

applications, APIs, databases, and UI components.

Perform manual testing to verify functionality, usability, and cross-browser

compatibility.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium,

Postman, JMeter, or similar.

Perform API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.

Conduct database testing by writing and executing SQL queries to validate data

integrity and business logic.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to

understand requirements and identify edge cases.

Report and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.

Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality

improvement efforts.

Maintain test documentation and support regression and release testing

activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.

Strong experience in web application testing (UI and functional) and database

testing.

Good understanding of API testing and tools like Postman, Swagger, REST

Assured.

Experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG,

Cucumber, or Cypress.

Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database validation.

Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automation/manual testing of UI as well as performance

testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).

ISTQB certification or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and within a team.
