QA Tester

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester with 6–8 years of expertise in Software Quality Assurance and Manual Testing to join our Nucleus Product Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and business-ready software releases by performing functional, exploratory, regression, API, integration, and data validation testing. Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams to drive quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience with Tosca test automation is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
  


• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, and risk-based testing to ensure software quality.
  


• Conduct API, integration, and data validation testing across applications.
  


• Identify, document, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  


• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and release testing approaches.
  


• Contribute to and enhance Tosca automated regression test suites.
  


• Coordinate testing across Development, UAT, and Staging environments.
  


• Support test data creation and maintenance for effective testing.
  


• Coordinate non-functional testing activities, including performance, security, accessibility, and load testing with specialist teams.
  


• Participate in Agile ceremonies, story refinement, and sprint planning to ensure testability of requirements.
  


• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to improve software quality throughout the SDLC.
  


• Monitor production defects, analyze quality trends, and recommend process improvements.
  


• Support release readiness and provide quality input for deployment go/no-go decisions.
  

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) and Manual Testing.
  


• Strong expertise in Functional Testing, Exploratory Testing, Regression Testing, and Risk-Based Testing.
  


• Hands-on experience with API Testing, Integration Testing, and Data Validation Testing.
  


• Experience creating test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.
  


• Strong knowledge of defect management, troubleshooting, and defect lifecycle management.
  


• Experience with Tosca or similar test automation tools.
  


• Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or other test management and defect tracking tools.
  


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  


• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
