About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and
detail-driven QA Tester with a minimum of 1+ years in video game testing,
ideally with hands-on experience in MMORPGs.
The candidate must possess a deep understanding of persistent online worlds,
live environments, and the complexities of multiplayer systems.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the game’s
stability, quality, and player satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Test MMORPG game features such
as quests, combat systems, skill trees, guilds, in-game economy, and
multiplayer interactions.

·        Execute test plans, perform
ad-hoc and exploratory testing, and verify bug fixes.

·        Perform regression, smoke, and
sanity testing for each release build and live patch.

·        Conduct end-to-end testing in
multiplayer and online environments to validate sync, lag, disconnection, and
matchmaking issues.

·        Log, track, and validate
defects using JIRA or other bug tracking tools with detailed reproduction
steps.

·        Collaborate with development,
design, and live operations teams to troubleshoot and isolate critical issues.

·        Assist in updating test plans,
writing test cases, and maintaining documentation throughout the testing
lifecycle.

·        Participate in game
playthroughs, test different player classes, factions, gear types, and content
loops to assess balancing and design gaps.

Required Qualifications:

·        Minimum 3 years of experience
in QA testing, preferably with a focus on multiplayer or MMORPG titles.

·        Strong knowledge of MMORPG
systems including PvE/PvP, world events, crafting, trading, and character
progression.

·        Hands-on experience with bug
tracking tools like JIRA, and test case tools like TestRail.

·        Ability to troubleshoot complex
issues and replicate bugs in a networked environment.

·        Good analytical and
communication skills; ability to clearly document and report findings.

·        Flexibility to test under
shifting priorities and during live server events and patch releases.

·        Passion for gaming,
particularly online multiplayer or MMORPG genres.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience testing on PC and
console platforms (PS4, PS5, Xbox).

·        Familiarity with backend
service testing or game telemetry review.

·        Basic understanding of
automation tools or scripting is a plus.

·        Exposure to LiveOps models or
seasonal update testing.
