QA Tester / Senior QA Engineer (Acturis Experience )

Job Title: QA Tester / Senior QA Engineer (Acturis Experience Required)

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester / Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in software testing and hands -on experience working with the Acturis platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications, with a focus on insurance -related workflows and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and enterprise applications.
  
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
  
• Validate and test workflows, configurations, and data within the Acturis environment.
  
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug -tracking tools.
  
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide input on test ability and quality risks.
  
• Conduct API testing and backend data validation where required.
  
• Support production issue analysis and troubleshooting.
  
• Ensure compliance with QA standards, testing processes, and documentation practices.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA methodologies and automation opportunities.
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
  
• Hands -on experience working with Acturis (mandatory).
  
• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
  
• Experience with insurance domain workflows (broking, policy management, claims, underwriting preferred).
  
• Expertise in writing detailed test cases and defect reports.
  
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.
  
• Basic understanding of SQL/database testing.
  
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  
• Strong analytical, problem -solving, and communication skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in test automation is a plus.
  
• ISTQB certification preferred.
  
• Experience working with UK insurance clients/processes is advantageous.
