Role Overview

We are looking for a QC Supervisor with a strong background in printing, packaging or labels to oversee quality control across the production process and ensure that finished products consistently meet customer and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

·   Supervise QC activities across printing, finishing, slitting, die-cutting and packing.

·   Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process production and finished labels.

·   Check print quality, colour, registration, dimensions, die-cutting, adhesive performance and customer specifications.

·   Identify defects, investigate root causes and coordinate corrective actions with production.

·   Approve or reject production batches based on defined quality standards.

·   Maintain QC records, inspection reports and customer-specific quality requirements.

·   Conduct first-off/sample approvals and ensure production follows approved artwork and specifications.

·   Handle customer quality complaints, support root-cause analysis and implement preventive actions.

·   Work closely with Production, Artwork, Planning and Sales teams to resolve quality issues.

·   Ensure proper segregation and identification of rejected/non-conforming material.

·   Train QC/production personnel on quality standards and inspection procedures.

Must-Have

·   3+ years of experience in the printing, packaging, label or related industry.

·   Practical understanding of printing and finishing processes.

·   Experience in QC/QA in a manufacturing environment.

·   Good understanding of common print defects and their causes.

·   Ability to read and understand job specifications, artwork and production requirements.

·   Strong attention to detail and ownership of quality issues.

Good to Have

·   Experience with flexographic, offset or digital printing.

·   Exposure to self-adhesive labels, BOPP, IML or wet-glue labels.

·   Knowledge of colour matching, Pantone standards and basic measurement/instrumentation.

·   Experience handling customer complaints and quality audits.
