Requirements

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to lead manual and automation testing efforts across pre- and post-release phases. The role involves ensuring application quality, identifying defects, and supporting business needs through robust testing practices. You will also guide a testing team, working in a fast-paced environment where applications serve both internal teams and external clients. Strong communication, client service orientation, and timely delivery are essential. Training will be provided on current and next-generation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned domains, covering various testing types, application functionality, and business needs.
  

• Review requirements for accuracy and completeness.
  

• Collaborate with QA leads to design test scenarios and related test cases.
  

• Execute test cases, log defects, and document results.
  

• Perform functional, smoke, regression, and non-functional testing (usability, accessibility, performance).
  

• Troubleshoot defects and verify fixes.
  

• Generate QA metrics using tools like MS Excel and provide actionable recommendations.
  

• Promote quality, security, and best practices as an active team member.
  

Education/Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).
  

Must-Have Skills:

• 1–2 years of software testing experience.
  

• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (Scaled Agile framework).
  

• Experience with testing methodologies.
  

• Hands-on experience with test management tools (preferably Azure DevOps).
  

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  

• Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic team environments with shifting priorities.
  

• Proven ability to integrate effectively with existing teams.
  

Good-to-Have Skills:

• QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
  

• Automation scripting using TOSCA or other low-code automation tools.
  

• Strong attention to detail and quality.
  

• Ability to build professional relationships and collaborate effectively.
  

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with solid research and presentation abilities.
