Quality Assurance Engineer - API Testing

Looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with 4 - 6 years of experience working in a Quality Assurance Engineer role. 

They are someone who can start immediately or have a notice period of up to 30 days and are willing to work in shift timing of 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM. 

Role Description:  

• Work within the quality team to ensure the overall quality of a manufactured product. 

• Creating documentation, devising quality tests, and defining the criteria a test result should meet.  

• Fixing issues when they arise. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Troubleshoot and test API requests using Postman or a cURL script. 

• Answer questions about API documentation, API access, and API limitations. 

• File and follow-up on JIRAs related to API bugs and feature requests. 

• Answer questions regarding API access and API permissions. 

• Assist in troubleshooting oAuth and token issues. 

• Communicate directly with engineering. 

• File JIRA tickets related to documentation caveats and undocumented features. 

Mandatory Requirements: 

• Experience working in a support role, ability to emphasize with clients. 
• Experience troubleshooting API issues, and network requests. 
• Experience with Postman. 

Preferred Requirements: 

• Clear written communication skills. 

• Basic understanding of oAuth, familiarity with JSON, cURL, and scripts. 

• Basic understanding of Digital Medial / Ad Tech background.

Eligibility Criteria: 

• Bachelors in Computer Science / Information Technology 

• 4 - 6 years of experience working in Quality Assurance.
