Job Description – Quality Control Head

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Head to lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control function for a biscuit manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in food safety, regulatory compliance, quality systems, laboratory operations, and team leadership within the biscuit manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end -to -end Quality Assurance and Quality Control operations.
  
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, GHP, and ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 standards.
  
• Develop and implement quality systems, SOPs, and process controls.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, wastage, and customer complaints.
  
• Lead customer, regulatory, and third -party audits.
  
• Oversee laboratory testing, product validation, RCA, and CAPA implementation.
  
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, R&D, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
  
• Build, mentor, and lead the plant quality team.

Requirements

• 12–18 years of experience in the Biscuit Manufacturing industry.
  
• Minimum 10 years in a Quality leadership role.
  
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality systems, and audit management.
  
• Hands -on experience in laboratory operations, quality control processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Excellent leadership, problem -solving, and stakeholder management skills.
