Quality Control Technician (Microbiology)

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented QC Microbiology Technician with strong expertise in cGMP, GLP, GDP, and ALCOA++ compliance. If you excel in setting team priorities, maintaining 5S standards, managing logbooks, and performing environmental monitoring, water/product testing, and microbiological analysis with accurate LIMS documentation, this role is for you. 



Key Responsibilities:

1. Determine team priorities based on plant requirements in coordination with the departmental manager.
2. Responsible to maintain the cleanliness of instrument and workplace with maintaining 5S.
3. An active participant in scientific / development activities such as validation process, development of basic analytical methods etc.
4. Follow-up the cGMP, GLP, GDP & ALCOA++ in the laboratory and safety guidelines.
5. Responsible for maintaining logbooks for all instrument usage.
6. To perform the Environmental monitoring, water sampling and testing, product testing and other microbiological analysis as per monograph and SOP’s with accurate documentation and timely reported results into LIMS system.
7. Accurately prepare Samples, Media, and Reagents as per SOPs and test procedures and ensure use of certified glassware, solvents, and reference standards.
8. Take care of online documentation and report the results.
9. Responsible for calibration / verification of instruments.
10. Responsible for initiating investigations for deviations such as LIR, OOT, and OOS as when observed. 
11. Ensure proper management, usage record, and storage of Media, Cultures, Disinfectants and Reagents as per SOP requirements.
12. Report unsafe acts, conditions, near misses, and events.
13. Participate in Safety Promotion activities, mock drills & Safety Trainings.
14. Follow safety procedures, protocols and adhere to the PPE requirement.
15. Ensure non-routine activities are executed through the work permit system

Minimum Required Skills:

• Good understanding of MLT, BET, Chemical and Microbial analysis of water, Environment Monitoring, pH meter, Analytical balance, Colony Counter & Autoclave. Understanding of GxP & Safety.

The ideal candidate must have:

Experience Level: Minimum 3 Years of exp.

Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Microbiology/Biotech)
