Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Quality Engineer in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site quality inspections and verify compliance with project specifications.
  
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, records, checklists, and documentation.
  
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site engineers for approvals and quality clearances.
  
• Ensure execution work follows approved drawings and quality standards.
  
• Maintain document control systems and filing procedures at project sites.
  
• Monitor quality -related issues and implement corrective actions.
  
• Support QA/QC activities across ongoing projects.
  
• Ensure compliance with organizational and client quality requirements.
  

Required Skills

1. QA/QC Documentation – Preparation and maintenance of quality records.
   
2. Site Quality Inspection – Conducting inspections and reporting observations.
   
3. Document Control – Managing project documents and records systematically.
   
4. MS Office Skills – Creating reports, checklists, and documentation.
   
5. Site Coordination – Working with engineers, clients, and consultants.
   

Preferred Skills

• Experience in MEP projects.
  
• Experience in industrial construction projects.
  
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 2–5 years of experience in site quality engineering, QA/QC documentation, or quality control activities. Experience in construction, MEP, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred. Exposure to documentation control and inspection processes will be advantageous.

Education

• Minimum: Diploma / B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
  
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  
• Additional Certifications: QA/QC certifications (if available)
