Job Description - Quality Head for Real Estate - punawale location

Lead the overall QA/QC function across residential construction projects.

Establish and implement project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.

Monitor quality of RCC, structural, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, flooring, painting and finishing works.

Ensure construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and checklists.

Review and approve Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and quality documentation.

Conduct regular site inspections and identify quality issues, defects and deviations.

Coordinate with Project, Execution, Design, MEP, Architecture and Consultant teams for quality-related matters.

Ensure proper implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control Plans.

Monitor concrete quality, including slump tests, cube testing, concrete pouring and curing procedures.

Ensure testing and approval of construction materials through approved laboratories/vendors.

Identify snags and non-conformities and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.

Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections for finishing works before handover.

Review workmanship and ensure compliance with required quality standards and tolerances.

Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports and NCR documentation.

Conduct regular quality audits and toolbox/training sessions for site teams and contractors.

Monitor contractor/subcontractor performance with respect to quality.

Investigate recurring quality issues and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.

Ensure proper documentation and compliance during project handover.

Drive continuous improvement in construction quality and reduce rework and defects.
