Quality Head Transmission

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Head to lead the overall QA/QC function for transmission and power infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Transmission Line / Transmission Tower projects along with expertise in quality management, inspection, testing, audits, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall QA/QC function for transmission projects.


• Develop and implement quality management systems, procedures, QAPs and ITPs.


• Ensure compliance with applicable IS/IEC standards, customer specifications and project requirements.


• Manage inspection, testing and quality documentation across projects.


• Coordinate with clients, consultants and third-party inspection agencies.


• Handle NCRs, CAPA, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.


• Conduct internal, customer and third-party quality audits.


• Monitor quality performance and drive continuous improvement.


• Lead, mentor and manage the QA/QC team.


• Resolve quality-related issues during manufacturing, fabrication and project execution.


• Ensure timely closure of quality observations and customer complaints.


• Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Projects, Procurement and Operations teams.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in QA/QC or Quality Management.


• Mandatory experience in Transmission Line / Transmission Tower / Power Transmission projects.


• Experience in managing the complete QA/QC function.


• Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection, testing, audits, NCR and CAPA.


• Experience in handling clients, consultants and third-party inspection agencies.


• Proven experience in leading and managing QA/QC teams.


• Strong knowledge of relevant quality standards and documentation.


• B.E./B.Tech or equivalent graduate qualification preferred.
