We are seeking a highly motivated Quantitative Researcher to join a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating investment research environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about financial markets, data analysis, and quantitative modeling. As a Quant Researcher, you will work on developing and improving systematic trading and investment strategies using advanced data analysis and programming techniques. The position focuses on leveraging large datasets, statistical methods, and machine learning approaches to identify patterns, signals, and opportunities within financial markets.

In this role, you will collaborate with experienced researchers, developers, and investment professionals to design, test, and refine quantitative models that support trading and investment decisions. The work involves deep analytical thinking, experimentation with data-driven approaches, and building scalable research pipelines using Python and related tools. You will contribute to the full research lifecycle, including data collection, feature engineering, backtesting, model evaluation, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative research to identify patterns, signals, and opportunities within financial market data
• Develop and test systematic trading or investment strategies using statistical and computational techniques
• Write efficient and scalable code in Python to support research, data analysis, and model development
• Build data pipelines to collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple financial data sources
• Perform backtesting and simulation of quantitative strategies to evaluate their historical performance
• Analyze results from research experiments and refine models based on insights and performance metrics
• Work closely with research and technology teams to improve data infrastructure and research tools
• Explore advanced statistical techniques, machine learning models, and optimization methods for strategy development
• Document research findings, methodologies, and performance results clearly and accurately
• Continuously monitor developments in quantitative finance, data science, and financial technology to enhance research approaches

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Strong programming skills in Python with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-structured code
• Solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, probability, or related quantitative disciplines
• Interest in financial markets, trading strategies, and data-driven investment approaches
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data analysis
• Familiarity with data science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar tools
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new ideas, models, and methodologies
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative insights in a clear and structured manner
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative field
