Quant Trader

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execution of Trading Strategies:
   

   • Execute intraday trading strategies, particularly focusing on options, to capitalize on market opportunities and maximize profitability.
     
   • Utilize advanced trading techniques and models to achieve optimal results while managing risk effectively.
     

2. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
   

   • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify potential trading opportunities based on options pricing, volatility, and market trends.
     
   • Collaborate with the team to develop and refine trading strategies that align with the firm's objectives and risk parameters.
     

3. Software Utilization:
   

   • Utilize approved trading software platforms (Greek, Omneysys, Utrade, Multitrade, XTS) proficiently for trade execution, data analysis, and risk management.
     
   • Provide feedback and suggestions for software enhancements or additional tools that could improve trading efficiency.
     

4. Risk Management:
   

   • Implement robust risk management techniques to monitor and mitigate trading risks in real -time.
     
   • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal risk limits while optimizing trading performance.
     

5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
   

   • Monitor and evaluate trading performance metrics including profitability, risk -adjusted returns, and trading costs.
     
   • Prepare regular reports on trading activities and performance metrics for review by senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Trader in a brokerage firm or financial institution, specializing in mid -frequency trading with a focus on options.
  
• Proven track record of executing successful options trading strategies in dynamic market environments.
  
• Experience managing substantial trading margins (more than 100 crores) and delivering consistent performance.
  
• Proficiency in using trading software such as Greek, Omneysys, Utrade, Multitrade, and XTS; ability to adapt and learn new software as required.
  

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast -paced, high -pressure trading environment.
