Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist with strong Data Engineering capabilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines, developing and evaluating machine learning models, and implementing Generative AI solutions on AWS.

This role requires a solid understanding of Python, PySpark, SQL, and AWS cloud services, as well as the ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines using PySpark, AWS Glue, and other AWS data services.

Create robust data preparation, model training, and inference pipelines for AI/ML workflows.

Evaluate machine learning model performance and communicate findings to key stakeholders.

Design and develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications using Generative AI models.

Work extensively with AWS services including Glue, Athena, S3, SageMaker, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data pipelines and models.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of professional experience in Python programming.

2+ years of experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.

4+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence, including model development, evaluation, and deployment.

3+ years working with AWS services, particularly:

AWS Glue, Athena, S3

Amazon SageMaker

DynamoDB, OpenSearch

2+ years of experience working with Generative AI and implementing RAG pipelines.

Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.

Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD practices, and cloud-based deployment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
