Job Description - Radiologist

Posting Title: Radiologist

Industry: Healthcare (Hospital)

Salary: ₹1.8LPM to ₹2.10LPM

Work Experience: 1+ year

Responsibilities:

Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X -ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging findings with clear, concise, and clinically relevant interpretations.
Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols and optimize diagnostic accuracy.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to clinical decision -making processes.
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety.
Stay current with advancements in radiological technology, techniques, and clinical guidelines.
Contribute to departmental audits, training programs, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior radiology staff and trainees as needed.

Requirements:

MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DM in Radiology or equivalent).
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
Minimum of 1 year of hands -on experience in a hospital or clinical radiology setting.
Proficiency in interpreting X -ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography studies.
Strong understanding of radiation safety, patient positioning, and imaging protocols.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems).
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical medical practices.
