Job Description - Radiologist

Posting Title: Radiologist

Responsibilities:

Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X -ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography.
Generate accurate, timely, and comprehensive radiology reports using standardized terminology and clinical context.
Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to provide imaging insights for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines (e.g., AERB, ICRP).
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to clinical decision -making.
Stay current with emerging imaging technologies, protocols, and best practices through continuous professional development.
Maintain meticulous documentation and patient records in compliance with hospital and legal standards.

Requirements:

MBBS with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD Radiodiagnosis or DNB Radiology).
Proficiency in interpreting X -ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography studies.
Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems).
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to patient -centered care and ethical medical practice.
Ability to work effectively in a fast -paced clinical environment with attention to detail.
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state medical council.
Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on -call duties as required.
