Job Description - Radiologist

Posting Title: Radiologist

Responsibilities:

Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X -ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography.
Generate comprehensive, accurate, and timely radiology reports for clinical teams and referring physicians.
Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal imaging protocols and diagnostic accuracy.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment within safety and quality standards.
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives for imaging procedures and reporting.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiological techniques, safety protocols, and clinical guidelines.
Contribute to teaching and training activities for residents, interns, and medical students under supervision.
Ensure strict adherence to patient privacy regulations (HIPAA/GDPR) and hospital compliance standards.

Requirements:

MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD Radiodiagnosis or DMRD).
Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical council.
Proficiency in interpreting X -ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography imaging studies.
Strong understanding of anatomical and pathological imaging findings.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Basic knowledge of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems).
Willingness to work in a fast -paced clinical environment with rotating shifts and on -call responsibilities.
Experience or training in pediatric or emergency radiology is a plus.
