### *Responsibilities*
- Evaluate patient medical histories, physical conditions, and presenting symptoms to determine the most appropriate radiological examinations for accurate diagnosis.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X -rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
- Administer radiopaque contrast agents safely and effectively, monitoring patients for adverse reactions and managing emergencies when necessary.
- Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely radiology reports with clear diagnostic impressions and clinical recommendations.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to refine imaging protocols and support clinical decision -making.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, ALARA principles, and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in quality assurance programs, peer review, and continuous professional development.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior radiology staff, residents, and medical students.
- Maintain meticulous records and ensure data integrity across digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) systems.

### *Requirements*
- MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DM/DNB in Radiology) from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical councils.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of post -qualification experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center setting.
- Proven expertise in interpreting diagnostic imaging across multiple modalities, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and conventional radiography.
- Demonstrated ability to assess clinical indications and select optimal imaging protocols based on patient condition and symptomatology.
- Proficiency in the safe administration and monitoring of radiopaque contrast agents, including managing allergic and anaphylactic reactions.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and hospital information systems (HIS).
- Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
