R&D Associate

Role Overview:

We are looking for an R&D Associate with hands-on experience in cosmetics, personal care, or dermatology-based product development. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to formulation, testing, stability studies, and regulatory documentation, and a keen eye for innovation in skincare technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize formulations for skincare and personal care products in line with Dermatouch standards.
  

• Conduct stability, compatibility, and efficacy studies for new and existing formulations.
  

• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to translate market trends into innovative product concepts.
  

• Maintain accurate records of formulations, trials, and testing data.
  

• Evaluate raw materials and new actives; interact with vendors to source novel ingredients.
  

• Ensure all R&D processes align with regulatory and safety guidelines.
  

• Support scale-up and pilot batch processes in coordination with manufacturing teams.
  

• Stay updated on industry innovations, trends, and competitor product launches.
  

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
  

• Experience: 1–3 years in R&D roles within skincare, cosmetics, or derma brands, Strong understanding of active ingredients, emulsions, and formulation techniques.
  

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, safety testing, and documentation processes.
  

• Attention to detail, creative mindset, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  

• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
