Knorr-Bremse India Private Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse AG Germany which is more than 110 years old Company and world's leading manufacturer of braking systems for Rail and Commercial vehicles. Knorr-Bremse started its operation in India in 1993 and relocated to Palwal location in 2013, which is set up to cater to the growing demand in the Indian market. 

Knorr-Bremse has built a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 17 Acres of land situated at 51/4 KM stone at main Mathura Road near Palwal. With optimized plant logistics and an improved working environment for employees, the new facility was built with an eye on maintaining the ecological balance. The plant conforms to Green building norms with energy-efficient air-conditioning and a high level of insulation. This helps reduce its carbon footprint, which the company considers a part of its environment sustainability.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong understanding of component specifications and attributes


• Ability to manage part databases in PLM and track component lifecycle status


• Drive solutions to address End‑of‑Life (EOL) and obsolescence alerts, including identification of alternates


• Review and address Product Change Notices (PCNs) from component manufacturers


• Good knowledge of environmental compliance requirements such as EU RoHS, China RoHS, REACH, and similar regulations


• Perform detailed environmental analysis using FMD, RCD, and mechanical drawings

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA)


• Experience with any PLM tool for handling ECR/ECO processes


• Hands‑on experience with BOMcheck, IMDS, and SCIP database reporting for articles and assemblies


• Knowledge of IHS, SiliconExpert, or Z2Data databases


• Strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement of existing processes

Soft Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English


• Flexibility to adapt to varying project requirements and task assignments
