R&D Senior Engineer

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Industry in Bangalore Location .

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responsible for design, and implementation of software solutions within PI Digital Business Line for global process
• industries.
• To provide broad technical software support, training, pilots and consulting services for clients and to carry out the
• implementation of company software product within process industries
• Work with Project Managers to define scope, features and estimates for new projects.
• Plan project activities with local and remote teams.

• Bachelor s / Master s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MCA, Software Engineering, or related technical
• field
• Overall experience of 5-10 years in professional software development (preferably within real-time Industrial
• Automation domain).
• Deep knowledge of Object-oriented programming language (preferably C#) and Design patterns & principles.
• Deep knowledge of .Net framework or .Net Core and technologies like LINQ, ADO.Net and Entity Framework
• Extensive experience in web application development using XML, SOAP, Json, REST APIs
• Should have Strong working knowledge in TypeScript , Angular and React.
• Familiarity with relational databases (ideally Oracle) and SQL
• Should have experience in developing at least one application as a full stack developer.
