We are looking for a highly driven Recovery Lead – Head to lead and strengthen the collections and recovery function in Hyderabad. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing end-to-end collections operations, optimizing recovery processes, and driving portfolio performance while maintaining a strong customer-first approach. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in collections management, team leadership, and risk control within financial services, fintech, NBFC, or banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end collections and recovery operations for assigned portfolios
• Design and implement collection strategies across early, mid, and late delinquency buckets
• Drive recovery performance and reduce non-performing assets through structured action plans
• Manage internal collection teams and external agencies to ensure target achievement
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and take corrective actions
• Develop dashboards and MIS reports to track portfolio health and recovery efficiency
• Collaborate with credit and risk teams to identify early warning signals and improve underwriting feedback loops
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, legal, and ethical collection practices
• Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Train, mentor, and develop team leaders and collection executives
• Handle escalations and resolve complex recovery cases
• Build scalable frameworks for sustainable and compliant collection growth

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 6+ years of experience in collections, recovery, or credit risk management
• Strong understanding of delinquency management and portfolio performance metrics
• Proven experience managing large collection teams and external recovery agencies
• Ability to design and execute data-driven collection strategies
• Strong analytical skills with experience in MIS reporting and performance tracking
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Knowledge of compliance, regulatory guidelines, and fair collection practices
