Job Description - Recruitment Consultant




The primary focus of this role will be Law Firm recruitment, at mid-senior levels, for
pan-India region. This role will include sourcing, screening, assessing, shortlisting and
sharing of candidate profiles with clients. This will include interview coordination, offer
negotiation as well. Adhering to timelines in terms of response to clients and maintain/
set clear and reasonable client expectation.

You will also be required to network and meet with professionals (both candidates and
clients). You will be helping in building the Law Firm database for Vahura and will need
to engage with mid - senior level candidates in this space. This role also involves
managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:
❏Understanding on the resourcing needs of our clients.
❏Identifying and engaging with suitable candidates via cold calling, networking,
referrals, headhunting and advertising.
❏Presenting the opportunity to the candidate and analysing/assessing the candidate’s
credentials for the position.
❏Developing and managing direct reportee(s) with a special focus on achieving
annual self and team targets.
❏Managing the recruitment process with our clients including recommending suitable
candidates, interview feedback and offer negotiation.
❏Reading up on latest industry trends and providing market intelligence to our clients.
❏Networking with clients and candidates to nurture and build relationships.
❏Conducting market research initiatives to improve insight into the nuances of a
specific industry and identify the right internal market strategy.
❏Sourcing and hunting new business with existing clients by doing consistent
engagement with various decision makers and stakeholders.

Requirement:
❏Strong written and spoken English ability.
❏ Curious by nature; interest in business and industry trends.
❏ At least 2-4 years of relevant HR/Recruitment experience in a corporate or
consulting environment or combination of corporate and retained executive
search, boutique search firm and/or agency experience would be attractive.
❏ Natural phone conversationalist with confidence to interact with people at all levels.
❏ Experience in a research role will be an advantage.
❏ Quick learner with critical and independent thinking skills.
❏ Self-reliant and confident, with high integrity and keen attention to detail.
❏ Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
❏ Skilled in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
