Job Description - Recruitment Lead

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Location: Bengaluru

JobType: full-time

We’re looking for a hands-on, driven individual to work closely with leadership in building a high-performing team and cultivating an environment where people can thrive. This is a high-ownership role involving approximately 70% focus on recruitment and 30% on HR operations. You will have full responsibility for the problem statements you take on and will play a crucial role in shaping the organization’s talent landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent across various roles and functions.
  • Own and manage the complete recruitment lifecycle—including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop accurate, engaging job descriptions.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment data to drive process improvements, reduce time-to-hire, and enhance the quality of hire.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline to meet both current and future hiring needs.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives in collaboration with marketing and HR to attract the right talent.
  • Ensure recruitment activities align with internal policies, labor laws, and ethical hiring practices.

Qualifications & Expectations:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead recruiter capacity.
  • Deep familiarity with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruitment technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience hiring across diverse functions and seniority levels.
  • Willingness to work 50–60 hours per week, 6 days a week.
  • This is a hands-on execution role; strategic thinking is welcome, but not a substitute for doing the work on the ground.
