ABOUT THE ROLE

AI is changing how buyers find software. When a prospect asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini “what’s the best ecommerce marketing platform,” we want TargetBay to be the answer. This role sits at the intersection of community marketing and AI search — and you’ll own both.

You’ll be on the front lines: spotting high-intent Reddit threads before anyone else, crafting responses that earn trust, and systematically growing TargetBay’s presence across the AI engines that increasingly drive B2B discovery.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

	AI Visibility & AEO Track TargetBay’s citation frequency across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude. Run weekly prompt audits, identify citation gaps, and execute structured campaigns to increase AI mentions month over month.
	Reddit Community Marketing Own our Reddit presence end-to-end. Identify high-intent threads in r/ecommerce, r/shopify, r/emailmarketing, and adjacent subreddits. Post, comment, and engage authentically — building karma and trust, not spam.
	Multi-Channel Community Growth Extend community efforts to LinkedIn and YouTube — identifying discussion threads, answering questions, and seeding TargetBay content where real buyers are actively asking.
	Cross-Team Collaboration Join weekly syncs with product and marketing teams to translate feature updates into fresh Reddit angles and AEO content briefs. Coordinate execution with agencies and freelancers seamlessly.
	Reporting & Insights Maintain a weekly dashboard tracking Reddit karma growth, citation mentions, post reach, and engagement. Surface actionable insights — not just vanity metrics — to the core marketing team.
