Regional Collections Manager

Our Financial Services client is hiring Regional Collections Managers
Experience : 10-15 years
Location : Mumbai as base location (lead Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh); Lucknow as base location (lead Uttar Pradesh), Hyderabad
Experience in Banking / NBFC / Fintech
Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for driving the collections for digital PL at the regional level and ensure execution of governance model in the defined region.
Managerial Responsibilities:
Onboarding agencies as per the established SOP
Train and coach the collections team for effective collections within the specified geography.
Monitor & review the activities of the regional collections team for achievement of collections targets.
Ensure adherence to collection processes in the region, i.e Account allocation, tracking, monitoring the field penetration, identifying & reporting fraudulent practices and executing governance model.
Functional Responsibilities:
Implement collection strategies at the regional level for efficient collections and recovery of outstanding loans
Monitor and ensure adherence to collection process and take preventive action against erring agencies / agents.
Ensure cost effective collections in the region, test and implement different collection models such as tele calling, account shuffling and Skip tracing.
Ensure legal tool is implemented as per strategic guidelines.

KeySkills/Experience :
A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in collections required
Manage a team of Area Collections Managers, Collections Managers
Monitor vendor performance and provide guidance.
Develop and execute collection strategies at the regional level
Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage a large team effectively
