Position Title

Regional Commercial Officer

Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)

To provide commercial support to the sales and marketing team through the monitoring and execution of sale of Traded & manufactured products, warehousing management, inventory control, credit control etc

Key Individual Accountabilities

• Statutory compliance

• Co-ordinate all insurance activities related to monthly declaration of stocks, liaisoning with surveyors and settlement of claims.


• Documentation / routine work for subsidy related activities

Key Interactions

Internal:

• Accounts department for release of payments and adjustments against payments


• Concerned Business Managers for timely supply of material


• Legal cell, for matters relating to customer complaints and / or contracting issues


• Administration department for co-ordination and facilities


• All commercial officers in SMOs / DMOs on issues related to the business plan, timely delivery of quality material through vendors and complaint handling.

External:

• Vendors for timely and quality supply of material


• Warehousing agents for bagging, handling and forwarding of material to the various locations, management of various warehouses and inventory control

Technical & Behavioral Skills & Knowledge

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum B.Com, M.Com, MBA, CA required.


• 4-8 years in the commercial function will be given preference

 Technical Skills

• Knowledge of SAP Functioning – S&D Module


• Knowledge of Excel


• Material management


• Warehousing and inventory management


• Knowledge of all statutory compliances


• Knowledge of processes and policies

Key Performance Indicators

• Efficient Coordination with Vendors, Supply chain team and sales team (RMDM, TBMs etc)


• Timelty completion of tasks


• Proper maintaining Records and MIS.

Competencies
