We're Hiring: Regional Manager – Pharmaceutical Sale

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Regional Manager – Pharmaceutical Sales to manage and grow pharmaceutical sales operations in Cuddalore District.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving regional sales targets, managing and mentoring the sales team, expanding market coverage, developing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve business and revenue targets.
  
• Manage, motivate, and mentor pharmaceutical sales representatives and team members.
  
• Monitor regional sales performance and implement action plans to improve results.
  
• Plan territories, sales coverage, doctor visits, and team activities.
  
• Build strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, and key healthcare professionals.
  
• Promote company products and increase product visibility in the assigned region.
  
• Identify new markets, customers, and business opportunities.
  
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  
• Conduct regular field visits and team performance reviews.
  
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports.
  
• Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and other internal departments.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical pharmaceutical marketing practices.
  

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  
• Minimum  1+ years of experience in a managerial/team-lead role in the pharmaceutical industry.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  
• Experience in Diabetic and Cardiac therapeutic segments is preferred.
  
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical sales and healthcare markets.
  
• Strong business development and territory management skills.
  
• Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
  
• Willingness to travel extensively within Tamil Nadu.
  
• Knowledge of CRM and sales reporting tools is an added advantage.
