As Regional Manager – North & East India, you will own the execution of Strategy, growth, and performance of Genetec's business across the North & East India region. This is an individual contributor role with full ownership of the region: you will personally drive relationships with strategic accounts, systems integrators, and consultants, and are accountable for regional revenue targets, market share growth, and ensuring customers and partners consistently realize the full value of Genetec's unified security, video surveillance, access control, and license plate recognition solutions.
You will set and execute the regional go-to-market plan and remain actively engaged in the field as a trusted business partner and consultant to key customers, systems integrators, and distributors. You will act as the senior point of contact between the region and Genetec, ensuring alignment between local execution and company strategy.
This position is based in New Delhi and requires regular domestic travel across North & East India, with occasional international travel.
What your day will look like:
Regional Strategy & Business Growth
Own and execute the sales strategy for North & East India, aligned with Genetec's global and country-level objectives
Build and manage the regional annual business plan, including revenue targets, pipeline coverage, and market share growth
Identify new business opportunities, verticals, and channel expansion across the region
Account & Partner Management
Serve as the primary relationship owner for the region's key accounts, systems integrators & consultants
Build and nurture strategic, long-term relationships with high-priority clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
Ensure partners and customers are supported throughout the full sales cycle, from opportunity qualification to post-sale success
Lead executive-level client presentations, solution demonstrations, and commercial negotiations for strategic deals
Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
Personally manage and grow a portfolio of strategic/named accounts across the region
Build, qualify, and maintain a robust regional pipeline of leads and project opportunities
Utilize CRM tools to ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and reporting across the region
Prepare and present regional sales forecasts, business reviews, and strategic recommendations to senior management
Marketing & Field Engagement
Partner with marketing to plan and execute regional campaigns, trade shows, partner events, and Genetec-led activities
Represent Genetec at industry events, partner conferences, and customer engagements across the region
Drive local demand-generation initiatives in collaboration with channel and marketing teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with local and global Genetec teams — including Sales Engineering, Channel, Marketing, and Customer Experience — to meet customer and business requirements
Maintain deep, current knowledge of Genetec's product portfolio, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
Provide market feedback and voice-of-customer input to product and marketing teams
More about you:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
8+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of owning a territory or region and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Experience in technical/solution sales, preferably within the IT, physical security, or video surveillance industries; familiarity with Genetec products is a strong advantage
Established network of relationships with systems integrators, consultants, and end customers within North & East India is highly desirable
Strong commercial acumen with experience in forecasting, business planning, and CRM-driven pipeline management
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence both internal teams and external partners/customers
Driven, proactive, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a matrixed organization
Highly organized, with strong prioritization skills to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, and initiatives simultaneously
Willingness to travel extensively across North & East India, with occasional international travel
