Regulatory Reporting Specialist (MiFID)

The suitable candidate will primarily be responsible for supporting the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations. The position requires a sound understanding of regulatory reporting requirements, strong organizational skills, an attention to detail and ability to interact across a range of stakeholders.

Principal Responsibilities

• Member of a team that monitors the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations. This will include:
• MiFID II trade and transaction reporting
• MAS trade & valuation reporting
• Support exception & rejection management
• Assess on a continuous basis regulatory reporting risk, and introduce or enhance controls as required
• Assist with the resolution of failed, inadequate or missing controls
• Assist with the documentation and implementation of processes and procedures for monitoring compliance across transaction reporting regimes
• Remain current on the regulatory reporting landscape
• Ensure the Operations department is fully compliant with regulatory requirements at all times.

Qualifications/Skills Required

• Proven understanding of regulatory reporting obligations and their impact on Operations
• Good knowledge of financial instruments across equities, fixed income and commodities
• Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx & Tableau
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to manage a range of stakeholders
• Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
