Reinsurance - Underwriting & Placement

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• 2-8 years of experience in Reinsurance Underwriting, Placement or Broking.
• Experience in both placement and operational aspects of reinsurance will be preferred.
• Experience in negotiating and placing risks with reinsurers.
• Experience in reinsurance documentation and operational processes.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle reinsurance underwriting and placement activities across relevant lines of business.
• Review submissions, assess risks, and support underwriting decisions.
• Coordinate with cedants, brokers, and reinsurers for quotations and placements.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, limits, and conditions with reinsurers.
• Manage policy documentation, renewals, endorsements, and other operational activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and business partners.
• Ensure timely closure of placements and accurate documentation.
• Support the team in developing new business and servicing existing accounts.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline.
• Professional qualification in Insurance/Reinsurance will be an added advantage.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in Reinsurance Underwriting & Placement
