Job Description - Relationship Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 100000 - Rs 400000 (ie INR 1-4 LPA)

Min Experience: 1 years

Location: Mumbai

JobType: full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition: Proactively engage potential clients through cold calling, database outreach, referrals, and consistent lead follow-ups.
  • Pipeline Development: Build, grow, and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients for long-term conversion.
  • Product Advisory & Pitching: Present and explain financial products — including Equity, Mutual Funds, and Insurance — in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Needs Assessment: Identify client financial goals and risk appetite to recommend the most suitable investment and insurance solutions.
  • Sales Conversion: Manage the complete telesales cycle — from initial conversation and objection handling to successful deal closure.
  • Target Delivery: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets related to acquisition and revenue growth.
  • CRM & Documentation: Maintain accurate client records, call logs, and activity tracking in the CRM system.
  • Compliance & Standards: Follow regulatory norms, internal policies, and ethical sales practices at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is mandatory.
  • Sales Ability: Strong passion for sales with a goal-driven, competitive, and achievement-oriented mindset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication with a confident, engaging, and persuasive speaking style.
  • Resilience & Persistence: Ability to handle rejections, thrive under pressure, and maintain a proactive approach to client outreach.
  • Attitude & Work Ethics: Energetic, self-motivated, disciplined, and highly result-oriented personality.
  • Experience (Preferred): 1–3 years of experience in telesales, business development, or inside sales, ideally in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance).
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Hindi required; knowledge of Marathi or Gujarati is an added advantage.
