Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration from Contentful to Amplience CMS, including content modeling, taxonomy, and data structure definition.
- Design and implement headless content delivery strategies, ensuring seamless integration with SFCC (SiteGenesis & SFRA), Scene7, Adobe DAM, and Marketing Cloud.
- Define and optimize content APIs, supporting a Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) approach for omnichannel content consumption.
- Collaborate with developers to enhance BFF integration, ensuring compatibility with the existing Node.js-based BFF layer.
- Work closely with business analysts, front-end developers, and backend teams to align CMS workflows with business needs.
- Implement best practices for Amplience Dynamic Content & Dynamic Media.
- Develop solutions for full-page preview functionality, considering Amplience’s limitations.
- Ensure governance, workflows, and content authoring best practices are well-documented.
Mandatory requirements:
- 7+ years in CMS architecture and development, 2+ years with Amplience
- Strong experience with Amplience CMS – Dynamic Content & Dynamic Media.
- Expertise in content modeling, API-first architectures, and headless CMS implementations.
- Experience integrating CMS with Digital Asset Management, and Marketing Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js-based BFF architecture.
- Familiarity with React-based frontends and customization.
- Strong understanding of GraphQL, REST APIs, and webhooks for headless content delivery.
- Experience implementing content preview solutions for Amplience.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Optional requirements:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento).
- Previous CMS migration experience (e.g., from CoreMedia, AEM, Drupal, etc.).
- Knowledge of performance optimization for headless CMS implementations.
