Job Description - Associate Director - Marketing & Communication

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

JobType: full-time

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic marketing professional to take on the role of Associate Director – Marketing & Communication. The ideal candidate will lead marketing and communication operations within the residential real estate segment, driving revenue growth, strengthening brand presence, and ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives. This leadership role involves close collaboration with sales and CRM teams to implement marketing strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales to co-create and implement data-driven marketing strategies aligned with growth objectives.
  • Manage the marketing calendar and campaign execution to support sales initiatives and enhance residential sales performance.
  • Lead branding and advertising efforts across geographies based on in-depth market segmentation and psychographic analysis.
  • Strategize and execute product launch plans, pricing models, and delivery timelines in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Develop and regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for marketing and communication functions.
  • Implement mechanisms for forecasting sales, tracking performance, pricing, discounts, and capturing customer feedback.
  • Oversee documentation and timely execution of sales agreements, deeds, and customer correspondence.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer grievances and incorporate insights into project planning and future offerings.
  • Supervise MIS generation, cash flow monitoring, and progress against sales targets.
  • Liaise with key departments (Legal, Finance, Project Development) to ensure project delivery commitments are met.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with housing finance institutions, consultants, and market agents to expand reach.
  • Serve as the custodian of CRM systems and ensure robust documentation of all sales and marketing records.
  • Represent the brand at national and international exhibitions, forums, and symposiums to increase visibility.
  • Drive revenue maximization through residential sales and ensure timely collections to reduce receivables.
  • Negotiate with external vendors to optimize marketing costs and maximize ROI.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships to drive loyalty and enable future sales opportunities.
  • Leverage personal and professional networks to generate high-quality leads.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 20–25 years in marketing with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role within the real estate sector.
  • Expertise:
    • Proven track record in digital marketing, brand strategy, and lead generation.
    • Strong command of market analysis, campaign execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Deep understanding of the Indian real estate landscape and evolving consumer behavior.
  • Leadership & Communication:
    • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Adept at motivating teams toward ambitious marketing and revenue goals.
  • Tech & Data Skills:
    • Proficient in CRM systems, campaign performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
    • Comfortable managing omni-channel marketing strategies.
