As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and govern enterprise-grade cloud networking solutions across multiple public clouds, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. You will ensure secure, scalable, and compliant network environments that support mission-critical applications and global operations. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic oversight, allowing you to influence cloud connectivity, security, and automation at a global scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, enforce network governance, and optimize performance to maintain high availability. The position emphasizes automation, Infrastructure as Code, and continuous improvement to create repeatable, secure, and resilient networking frameworks. You will operate in a fast-paced, international environment, contributing to innovative cloud infrastructure solutions that impact millions of users worldwide.
Accountabilities:
- Architect, manage, and govern global cloud networking infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, including VPC/VNet design, routing, segmentation, and connectivity standards.
- Implement hybrid connectivity solutions such as AWS Transit Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Cloud WAN, and site-to-site VPNs.
- Design and maintain secure private connectivity patterns using PrivateLink, Private Endpoints, and firewalls.
- Configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls, including centralized policy management via Panorama, as well as Prisma Access and Prisma Remote VPN.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for scalable, repeatable, and secure network deployments.
- Collaborate with Security, Platform, and Cloud teams to align on compliance requirements (PCI DSS, ISO 27001), operational reliability, and governance.
- Troubleshoot complex network, routing, firewall, and performance issues across multi-region cloud environments.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and networking standards to support continuity and audit readiness.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud networking or infrastructure engineering with deep expertise in enterprise networking.
- Hands-on experience with AWS networking services, including VPC design, routing, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs, and PrivateLink/Private Endpoints.
- Strong Palo Alto firewall administration skills, security policy optimization, and traffic segmentation.
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for modular network deployments.
- CCNA or CCNP certification is required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for routing, connectivity, firewall policies, and network performance issues.
- Familiarity with regulated, high-availability environments.
- Nice-to-have: Azure networking (ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, Private Endpoints), GCP/OCI networking, Prisma Access, Panorama, CI/CD governance, Python/Go scripting, and knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
- Preferred certifications: AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
- Experience in payments, fintech, or banking infrastructure is a plus.
