This role is responsible for shaping the data strategy and building a high-performing analytics team to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will lead a central data function, driving initiatives that unify data sources, optimize processes, and deliver actionable insights to business leaders. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in data engineering, analytics, and governance. You will collaborate across departments to ensure data integrity, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, values cross-functional collaboration, and has a proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. Your efforts will directly influence operational efficiency, business performance, and strategic planning.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage the central data team, including data analysts and engineers, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality output.
- Implement and maintain analytics processes, data governance, and tools aligned with the overall data strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Oversee day-to-day data operations, including reporting, data quality monitoring, and adherence to governance policies.
- Contribute to the development and scaling of data infrastructure and analytical capabilities.
- Provide guidance on hiring, promotions, and team performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a quantitative discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, with hands-on experience across the full data lifecycle.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and scaling technical teams.
- Experience working with US companies and managing cross-border teams and stakeholders.
- Expertise in data engineering, analytics, governance, and implementing best practices for scalable data solutions.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in managing high-velocity technical projects and resource allocation in dynamic environments.
