We are seeking a talented Data & DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-based data platforms within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will leverage Azure technologies to enable scalable, resilient, and automated solutions that support multiple business functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide infrastructure and DevOps best practices, and ensure smooth deployment and operations of critical data systems. The role offers opportunities to influence architecture, drive automation, and contribute to the delivery of advanced analytics and AI capabilities. Strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise in Azure, and the ability to navigate complex projects are essential.
Accountabilities:
- Build, administer, and deploy cloud infrastructure using Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Databricks, SQL Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Service Bus, Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, SQL Database, DNS, Virtual Network, and App Service.
- Develop core infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and release workflows through Azure DevOps.
- Automate deployments and testing frameworks to enable developer productivity.
- Monitor data pipelines to meet SLAs and respond to alerts with timely solutions.
- Document, implement, and audit security and access permissions for the data platform.
- Collaborate with Agile squads to deliver high-quality technology solutions and standardized user communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data and DevOps Engineering, with at least 3 years of hands-on Azure cloud experience.
- Expertise with Azure services, including Data Lake, Databricks, SQL Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Service Bus, Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, SQL Database, DNS, Virtual Network, and App Service.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, source control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery models and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Preferred experience with relational databases, ETL development, cloud cost governance, additional public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), MS Fabric, and AI tool stacks in Azure.
